I was asked to sum up my life in one sentence. I was caught off guard, but I think I did well.

Dammit gym, I'm a doctor not a meat head!
Those of you who have been following a long time may remember my distinct hatred of gyms. Be it the actual buildings, the people in them, or the general environment, I can’t stand them. Never have, never will.
I’m far too big on hiking, cycling, jogging, climbing (etc) outdoors, and being a big hippy with my love of nature and fresh air.
NOW… I’ve had a re-think after my...

Ron Swanson’s reaction to getting shot in the head is one of my new favourite things.
Reading material for when you poop.
I was going through my old laptop, transferring things, and came across an old bookmark containing a few tidbits I wrote a few years back and put on scribd.
They’re completely terrible first drafts and in dire need of an editor, but here are two things I thought I’d share.
This is a weird surreal thingy I wrote after an operation when I was still extremely out of it; Clicky -...
Second scan shows my knee isn’t as bad as first feared. Was possibly 2 months worth of healing, but it’s more likely to be less than a month, with regular movement in 10-15 days.
Welcome good news!
Anonymous asked: How exactly did you hurt your knee?
I’ve 70 minutes of nothingness ahead of me, so I’m going to make a second Skyrim character. All-out magic!
List
I’m making a list of things I can do to cheer myself up instead of complaining. It mostly entails screwing with people. So far I have;
Starting sentences with “When I was a little girl…”
Wearing funny hats in inappropriate places.
Making my crutches gay (Glitter and pink/purple tape)
Screaming in fake agony every time someone brushes off me.
Filling my empty painkiller...
Smiley Friday
I absolutely abhor having to scroll through my dash, trying to avoid all the drool I read about people’s “hard” lives and nonsense worries. So for that reason, I’m not going to add to it… cripple or not.
Things will be smiley and happy and boisterous and cheery and wonderful and beautiful and not at all compensating for anything lacking in my life or because of pain...
That was the most drug-dependant sleep I’ve ever had.
Up all night because I couldn’t really move thanks to my knee. I need to maneuver and find about 17 comfortable positions before I can sleep usually, but with my knee I pretty much had to lie still.
I have the crappy kind of painkillers that help with the pain, but don’t make you drowsy (I know, right?!?) so they...

Oh Hey so…
Megaupload is back
Or will be, Just so you know.
I don’t know if the FBI got their servers or not. It’ll be good to have the site back, but without all the old material, people are going to be just as pissed.
Progress, I guess.

I’m going to watch Real Steel tonight because it’s probably best I watch Hugh Jackman and robots fight instead of releasing my anger onto the world with my crutch.
And to the anon who said I need to get laid to forget my knee pain; Yes, your mother thought so too. Although it got weird when your dad dropped the camera.
I was wondering why IceFilms wasn’t connecting for me, then I read Megaupload was axed. Fucking hell, that’s huge!
IceFilms is easily the best site for watching tv and films, and I’m pretty sure it has just been made obsolete now. Jebus.
Piratebay just got a spot on my bookmark toolbar.

You are way to productive, I would choose to watch every episode of futurama over and over again.
This makes perfect sense, but I’m weird like that. When I’m prefectly well and have lots of things that need doing, THEN I get lazy and watch every episode of Arrested Development, Futurama, Black Books, etc, over and over...
discobloodfeast asked: If it helps any, I got a surgery on my kneecap, because it was broken in four places with a wire going around it, and two going through the middle. It sucks not being able to do anything, but you could always read :") I did alot of that. And I mean, I still can't bend it, (almost two months after it broke) but let me know how your surgery thingy goes :")

Firstly, serious thanks to everyone who sent me a message wishing me well and all that. Very much appreciated! I’m not *that* down about it, or at least I don’t think I am. It’s just a knee, right?

Now a quick reply to some of the hobby ideas to help keep me sane.
Writing - I already do that, but unfortunately use walking/cycling/hiking to clear my head and get into the...
