I had a very sobering/depressing “is this all there is?” moment about 7 hours ago, so I hopped on my bike and cycled 3 hours in one direction with a small bag of sandwiches. Just got home at 4:25am, and can officially report that nope, that wasn’t all there was. There’s a lot more out there when you look for it.

Watching Elf… I can’t get over just how bad an actress Zooey Deschanel is.

In honour of Christmas, I tried to work out how long it would take to visit every household (and people without houses) on the planet, if you could travel at 99.9999991% the speed of light (the speed of protons in the Large Hadron Collider, CERN.
It’s somewhere between 8-10 minutes.
