A few responses…
Firstly, serious thanks to everyone who sent me a message wishing me well and all that. Very much appreciated! I’m not *that* down about it, or at least I don’t think I am. It’s just a knee, right?

Now a quick reply to some of the hobby ideas to help keep me sane.
- Writing - I already do that, but unfortunately use walking/cycling/hiking to clear my head and get into the mood for that, so I’ll definitely struggle without them.
- Painting - That’s something I wouldn’t mind trying, but I literally have no idea where to start. I’ve looked in the past, and I get lost in a sea of various types of paints, brushes, paper, etc… then don’t know if I need an easel or should use a desk. I get very flustered with it.
- Drinking - Yup, if I don’t figure something out soon, that’ll be the option.
- Play an instrument - Yeah realistically, this is what I’ll do a lot of. I have a keyboard covered in dust that I could always turn to, so hopefully I can get back into that.
- Learn a language - Already in the process of learning Korean and re-learning French, so I guess I’m covered there too.
- Drugs - I’ve been given enough painkillers to bring down Oprah. They’ll do.
