That was the most drug-dependant sleep I’ve ever had.

Up all night because I couldn’t really move thanks to my knee. I need to maneuver and find about 17 comfortable positions before I can sleep usually, but with my knee I pretty much had to lie still.

I have the crappy kind of painkillers that help with the pain, but don’t make you drowsy (I know, right?!?) so they didn’t help at all. I eventually called the doctor at the hospital (because I’m a responsible citizen) to ask if I could take sleeping tablets with the painkillers… he said “you probably shouldn’t tonight, but it’ll be OK tomorrow”. All I heard was “probably”, then woke up 9 hours later thanks to these wonderful pills.

I’m a junky now…
