Anonymous asked: How exactly did you hurt your knee?

Don’t make me relive it, DON’T DO IT!

Ahem…

Hiking. Near a muddy cliff on some slippery rocks. I was with a group of people, and someone slipped in the mud. I turned to try catch them because they would have fell on a fairly dangerous spot (not “fall off a cliff” dangerous, but “nasty bang on some rocks” dangerous), but my own foot got caught between some rocks, so when I turned my body, everything but one leg turned, and it twisted my knee… and then by grabbing the girl, both our weights then forced us to twist further, but my foot stayed still, and it just felt like my kneeĀ popped.

The worst thing about it is that I always go hiking alone, and never had a problem… this was the first time I went in a group. Lesson learned.
