QUESTION
For anyone who cares to answer…
If you’ve experienced both American comedy and British/Irish comedy in large quantities, which to you believe is better?
For me, it’s not even a competition. There are some great American comedians, and some very good shows/movies, but British/Irish comedy has a vast sea of superior quality humour, skits, stories, characters, etc… ranging from when we first developed language, all the way up to 2012.
The only reason I’m asking is because 90% of my followers are American, and I wan’t to know how many of you realise this. You’re allowed to disagree, of course, but you’d be wrong… so wrong… wrong, wrong, wrong.

British/Irish stuff without a doubt.

British comedy is better because there’s a variety, Americans joke about the same things over and over, but what we do, we do well!

British/Irish for sure. Watch “South Park” and then watch “Blackadder”. The answer will be clear.

British/Irish, definitely. Though I’ve heard much more British than Irish, I’m assuming they’re similar by your grouping.

I really do think that British humor is usually better. I LOVE 30 Rock and Arrested Development, but those are like, the only two shows that I think are as funny as British comedy.
